Hola que hace?

Last Monday we went to a place called Matucan for P Day. It’s an hour and a half from where we live. We went with the other 20 missionaries from the zone and at first I was a bit worried because my foot still hurt a lot and we had to walk uphill for about 2 hours! I had had a cold and a cough a few days before and at the beginning I was very brave but halfway through the walk I felt as if I was dying! My lungs were suffering but we finally arrived at the famous waterfall and it was fun. It seriously is a very beautiful place, we even called it a mini Machu Picchu haha. We took pictures and some crazy missionaries (the majority) went under the waterfall and were having fun like little kids hahha. For sure I would have done the same but I was sick and everyone who had gotten wet were shivering from the cold.

I was dead when we returned home! but P Day ends at 6 pm and we have to start working. We had scheduled an appointment with a family but they cancelled and while we were on our way to see someone else, out of nowhere a mototaxi driver yelled at us, “senoritas!” He told us that he wanted us to go teach his daughter since the sisters used to visit her but suddenly stopped.  He lived a few houses away and one of his sons was playing outside and he told his other daughter to show us where they lived so we could go talk to Sandy, his other daughter. We went to see her and she really seemed excited to learn, I invited her to get baptized on February 28 and she accepted, she really wants the Gospel in her life and wants to learn how to make good decisions and have good values in her life. Wow, I truly admire her for that and she’s only 15 years old! She says her parents will let her decide for herself which religion she should join, so even better! we are excited to teach her.

This week we honestly have seen so many miracles! Surely because tomorrow we have transfers and that always happens when a missionary leaves an area. Everyone says that my companion will leave and I will stay in the area… I hope everything goes well if that happens. Please pray for me to not get lost.

There are seriously so many prepared people, we only have to find them, we met people this week who want to change their lives, they have enough faith that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can help them, and the best thing is that they are willing to act upon this faith! Faith without works is dead!

Also, thank you so much for your prayers concerning my foot and my health. One day my foot hurt horribly and every time I coughed it hurt and the next day, miraculously, the pain was gone almost completely, seriously, thank you! I also asked for a health blessing, the priesthood seriously is the best!

I also want to thank my parents for taking us to church and having a testimony of it. Every day I see families where a father isn’t a member or is against the church  and it truly is sad. Please don’t stop praying and reading your scriptures. They are what keep us strong during trails!

I’m truly thankful for this and for having the Gospel in my life, I don’t have enough words to describe what I feel. Take care and I miss you a lottttt!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUISAAAAAA welcome to adulthood hhaahaha

FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS LUISAAAAAA welcome to adulthood jajajjaja
